GENERAL PRODUCT & ALLERGY WARNING

It is the responsibility of the product user to use the products properly.  The Yellow Mermaid, LLC is not responsible for any injuries or accidents.  Purchasing and using our products means that you acknowledge and accept the possibility of rashes, allergic reactions, other conditions related to use and have read all the ingredients listed on our product label.

General Product Information

​

  • We use a variety of ingredients in our products and although they are crafted with natural ingredients and may look edible, please do no try to eat them, use them on your eyes or any other sensitive areas.  

  • Keep products out of reach of small children and pets. 

  • Sodium Hydroxide (used to make solid soap) and Potassium Hydroxide (use to make liquid soap) are part of the saponification process.  You cannot make soap without it. However, please note that they are not present in the final product. 

  •  Our soap can and will vary slightly in weight, color, design as they are handcrafted. 

  • The scent usage rates in our bars are based on the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).

Allergy Warning 

​

  • Please read the ingredients carefully if you have allergies or sensitive skin.

  • Spot test all products before use. 

  • As part of the variety of ingredients used to create our products, we use fragrance oils, essential oils and nut oils.  

  • Our products are created in a facility where all ingredients are present.  At some point one ingredient may have been in contact with another ingredient.  

  • If you have an irritation or allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a physician.
